Home Education Podcast 026

Well, Sarah and the kids are away, so Dad has been draughted in to host this weeks show.

I talk about my lack of knowledge when it comes to home education. I look at things from the working partners aspect rather than the main home educating partner. Listen as I try to make sense of it all. Maybe there will be a few partners out there that will relate?

We also pre-recorded a segment with the full gang about our brilliant trip to Flamingo Land to a home education day we went on last week. We have a guided tour round the zoo and have a meet and greet the creature. An excellent day with a hefty discount for home educating families.

Mums Birthday

This week we celebrated Mums birthday by having a trip to York and followed it up by staying in the Whitby Youth Hostel for the night. Right next to the famous Whitby Abbey.

Frogger is creepy crawly crazy and becomes an amateur entomologist. She describes what she has caught and what she knows about them.

We also review our current books, Llama Drama and Famous Five: Five on Kirrin Island again.

We also visit Goathland (also known as Aidensfield to HeartBeat fans) to visit the train station used in the Harry Potter film as Hogsmeade station.
