Episode Half Hundred- The windy one
We’re blown away on this week’s podcast as we climb the steep bank up to Captain Cook’s monument for a blustery picnic as part of our days exploration with Explorer Club. We enjoy fun activities in the heart of the North York Moors National Park and work alongside other families in learning to support the work the park volunteers do to encourage the sustainability of the land.
50 podcasts later and we’re well into our year long anniversary. We thank our regular listeners for their support and decide that Baby G needs an upgrade. We share (well some of us) our personal favorites from our adventures.
Thinking once again about living books, I read a short extract from Gerald Durrell’s, My Family and Other Animals to demonstrate how a knowledgeable author can teach and entertain, that the two do not have to be separate. (If only somebody had introduced Sarah to anemone as a written word- sigh!)
Plus, join Frogger and Toad for their Scores of The week.
