Taste the difference

We’re enjoying a small break from our studies this week and so to celebrate we ask Frogger and Toad to take part in the secret food test.

After being blind folded, the children are given 9 small samples of food which they have to examine and identify with the help of our lovely assistant, Paul.

Have a great rest of the week podcast listeners and we will be back soon.

Happy holidays.

Easter?

Spring has begun, believe it or not, and as nature opens up to reveal new life and a fresh face of green, we prepare for and discuss Easter, the origins predating the Romans and how it correlates with the more common celebration from the Christian religion as Jesus Christ is remembered.

We discuss Easter eggs, the newly approved deposit scheme for recycling and the children share their weekly highlights.

Please watch and share this video exposing Cadbury’s.

Have a cracking Easter weekend everyone.

Eggcelent Easter

We’ve had an eggcelent Easter and discuss not only how to blow eggs but also the traditional method of decorating them using melted wax and dyes. Once decorated, we hung our eggs on our seasonal tree, and discuss how to find your own every changing centre piece for free, to sit proudly on display in your home.

It’s St. George’s day at the weekend and Toad tells us the history of George and the Dragon. We talk about traditional British ways to celebrate and encourage our listeners to start their own traditions.

Frogger recites an April poem as we welcome the changing seasons. Finally, Frogger and Toad struggle to narrow down their weekly activities to just one score.
