Lake District adventures

We’re back from our jolly holibobs! Hear all about our week in The Lake District. We talk about England’s deepest Lake and highest mountain. (As usual Frogger and Toad have forgotten most of the things we did!)

We managed to supplement our meals with some healthy foraging in Roan Woods and experienced two different levels of customer service from two pubs owned by the same people.

We get up close and personal with the demonising May bug.

We describe how we enjoyed our trip to Muncaster Castle and whether we think the haunted legends are true.

Finally, join Frogger and Toad for their ‘Score of the Week.’.

Foraging Fun

Following our week of birthdays, Frogger tells us all about her wee party with her home educating friends and sits in the hot seat as we fire this years birthday quiz at her.

Paul and Frogger have been foraging and we discuss the abundance of food to be found in the hedgerows, the garden and the woods. We talk about how to take the sting out of eating nettles and share some delicious recipes to try out with your own children.

Finally, Toad and Frogger share their Scores of the Week.

Please note there will be no podcast next week, we will return in two weeks time. In June too! (June is busting out all over….)
